I figure maybe this will make that one guy Steve feel better about his life.
I just got off the phone with a customer who thought our network was getting too slow and that we needed to come upgrade his equipment (we already did that maybe 6 years ago when we replaced his smartBridges radio - from a WISP be bought out - with Canopy).
Turns out the Canopy SM is acting as his router, it reports 10HDX, and behind it he has a Boca Research 10BaseT "concentrator" (apparently a hub), and behind that he has a Linksys WAP54G. And his wife brought home an Amazon Firestick.
We are actually in the process of replacing our 2.4 FSK in that area with 3.56 PMP450,.
But do you think maybe the customer needs to upgrade his network first?
