I grew up on a family operated dry-land wheat and cattle operation. ( That is 
the reason I work in electronics....)

We ate only the culls, good cows got sold after replicating.

Pan fried steak almost every day it seemed.  (After the venison and elk was 
gone).
Some bites never did get chewed sufficient to go down.  Mmmmm.
To this day, steak is one of the last things I will choose at a restaurant.
