I don't know about that. For all of Hollywood's denial, they are 100% about making lots of money. If someone says they don't write screenplays or pick actors based on anything other than money I think they are absolutely wrong. Look at the latest stint of religious movies. Someone figured out that you could put just about any nobody in a lead role stamped religious and a bunch of people would go see it. Granted those guys, I think, have a genuine belief but I doubt they would be doing it is they lost money.
