Isn't that what Kodi already does? I must admit, I have missed the
threads on McCown TV, so I don't know what I'm talking about.

They did not include a season record feature because they
automatically record all TV channels for X number of weeks (based on
HDD size). I told the developer that we must be able to record a
series and have all the recordings in some kind of file folder type of
feature. They are working on it.
