I have a wifi one that I got a few months ago for a fair bit more ($79 if I
remember right).,  Looks very similar but with a battery pack and wifi
transmitter on one end.   I've used it a couple of times since then - the
most useful was to figure out why the vacuum kept clogging up even after
cleaning it out.   Had a big chunk of broken plastic stuck in it from who
knows where.
