Similar thing happened to my brother in college. A non drinker was goaded into
taking a bet that he couldn’t chug a fifth of whisky (probably 80 proof). The
guy did, and promptly fell over clinically died.

No heartbeat, no breathing. They dragged him out on a snow covered balcony and
left him there while trying to decide what to do. They checked a half hour
later and he was still dead. And getting cold too. They finally called ems.
EMS told them he is not dead until he is warm and dead. They took him to a
hospital, warmed him up and gave him a jump start. Guy came out of it without
any observable impairment.

Nobody went to jail. Nobody got sued. (early 1960s)

Ah, yes, must use the correct terminology.

I remember when I was in college and the John Hancock Center was just
built,
one of my buddies figured out you could buy a drink at the bar on the
96th
floor for about the same money as a ticket to the observation deck 2
floors
below, so off we went. One of us got a quizzical look when he ordered
his
drink "with ice". Oh, you mean "on the rocks", I thought you said "with
      rice".

So "neat" or "on the rocks" it is. And shaken, not stirred.

Four Roses or Woodford Reserve, but I'll try anything. I also like
Crown.
      Neat (no ice).

I'm a fan of Four Roses myself. I'd rather have it than Maker's Mark
any day. I
also enjoy it more than the smokey notes of Woodford Reserve.

        Blanton's is also quite good.

What about you Chuck, you're another Ky Boy. Any favorites?
