Contact the FAA immediately. Then you get something like 3 weeks no harm no foul. More than that I think you can get an easy pass, just update them. The city nearby usually waits to get it fixed at the 20 day mark, can't get it done that day, and then fix it after say 22 days. This has happened several times and they only get grief because there's an Air Force Base about 10 minutes away.
Now in practice there's a 400' tower that we moved off of. The lights haven't worked for nearly a year. The FAA and tower owner know, but clearly don't care.
