Microsoft certainly pushed out a big Windows Update yesterday. My wife complained about the fan noise from my laptop interfering with her TV watching. Windows Update Manager had the CPU pegged for a couple hours I think (for Win7 no less). But that’s not really unusual for Patch Tuesday. I think if Microsoft changes one line of code, they send out a new copy of everything. Certainly different from doing a yum update where just the affected packages get updated.
