Is what I attached an Amphenol connector? Is there just one type or are there more than one?

One of the cities with work with got service from me for their water meter collector systems. They wanted to have their electrician do the install. It didn't work. I come back to an indoor cable plugged into an unprotected connection on their box. The manufacturer (Itron) doesn't have anything to protect that connector.
