Have any of you worked with C-Bridge? Are any of you "experts" at it?
We have an install on a Dell R210 (non-Xeon) that barely moves the needle CPU wise. Do an install on a dual Xeon Dell 2950 and it uses 100% of the CPU. It is running on top of vSphere 5.5 in both cases. First server has 1 vCPU, second has now 4 vCPUs and still buries it. Surely the 2950 isn't THAT much worse than the R210's architecture. According to cpuboss, com, there's not a staggering difference in performance with the 2950 taking some of the awards. That combined with four times the number of CPUs... and I'm puzzled. We suspect some sort of configuration error as the difference is only significant when the bridge is in use (versus a problem with the system).
