I actually built one of these when that AP product first came out.  Mine a 
thermoformed case.  Was 60 degrees 7 dBi.  But the RP-SMA was a booger.  I 
didn’t want to spend the money on the tooling to do what RF did.  

I still think it was a good financial decision (not to do the tooling).  So it 
remains a lab curiosity.  Gino was the one the suggested it.  

You gotta sell a crap ton to recoup the injection molding tooling cost.  And 
for every AP you sell, you sell many more SMs.  So AP antennas ain’t my 
favorite thing to develop.
