Article says very high gain antenna with beamwidth less than half a degree and that actual transmit power is only half a watt. I shouldn’t do math in my head, but that would be something like 53 dBi antenna gain to get from 0.5 watts to 1E5 watts EIRP? At 80 GHz that seems feasible without the antenna size getting ridiculous. Hell to aim, though.
