[AFMUG] Verizon network extender data speed

Does anyone know what Internet speed should be expected on a Verizon Network 
Extender For Business?

I thought these were only 3G and mainly for voice, assuming if you really 
cared about data you would just connect directly to WiFi.  I remember when 
my smartphone speeds used to top out around 1M but I don't remember if those 
were the 3G days or whatever was before 3G.

I have a customer on a 20Mx20M connection who put in a couple of these 
microcells and is complaining about Internet speeds on their smartphones 
only being around 1M, they called Verizon who blamed our Internet.  Verizon 
also had them test speed to internetfrog.com which gave significantly worse 
results than speedtest.net.  I swear the training for all microcell support 
reps is "blame the ISP".
