We started with a business cable connection up to 100 Mbps down and 5 Mbps
up for our first 120 customers. They said we could resell it OUTSIDE their
service area which was only in town. We targeted everyone out of town and
we were both happy. We quickly outgrew the cable connection but it worked
while we started up and we had our contract amended to allow reselling
outside their service area. Of course we moved to a fiber connection after
the cable connection. Now we have lots of fiber bandwidth for under $2 Meg
and working to get that even lower.

The cost for the cable was $250 a month if I remember right so it really
helped our cash flow starting out.
