Isn’t this just a problem of money?

When did our whole political system design itself so much around those that can
move money?

Isn’t there a way to re-invent our system such that we all go online, identify
ourselves with political ideals and resolutions we like, then get a list of
candidates that have volunteered for presidency? With weighting based on MERIT,
not MONEY or PARTY.

I’m so sick of party politics, but not to the point of voting for assholes,
extremist and incompetents.

Maybe I’ll just do a write in.

Is that still allowed?

Worthless, but alleviates my conscious by voting still, but not voting for
someone I really don’t care for, which currently are all of the “candidates”.

Not a chance in hell there's a dime coming directly from him. I think if he
were to actually find out money from his campaign was directly or indirectly
funnelled into the nonsense he would stop it and come clean on it. But he
definetely won't put a stop to those who support him funneling money into it.
This is such a dirty election, who knows where the money trail leads. Anonymous
donors to gofundme accounts are virtually untraceable. That's a company that
needs to be investigated, but by it's nature, it's isolated from wrongdoing by
it's participants.

Do you think Bernie Sanders is paying for protesters?

I think the locals are primarily just anti trump, mostly Bernie, a few Hillary
and maybe one for Cruz. The paid protesters support whichever president is on
the bills they are paid with, but predominately Bernie.

I hate that I have to vote trump, i wish there were an actual good candidate,
but Cruz is too much of a zealot to beat the left, and neither of the two on
the left will take us in any positive direction, they'll just continue focusing
on dividing the nation like the current mope.

I'm still hoping Bill Murray makes his run for real.

Who are the local protesters supporting and who are the paid protesters
supporting?

He's coming to this area tommorrow. I have been monitoring the local protester
chatter, their plans to go and protest. I've been warning them they're going to
be outnumbered by the paid protesters and to have an exit strategy if things go
south. And also pointed them to some resources for better preparedness in the
event they choose to stay if mayhem starts. They have no clue what they're in
for with these professional rabblerousers. I fear a lot of them will be
recruited into these left wing terror cells and not even realize it.

deserves to sink or swim on his own merit. Breaking up

                Jaime you kind of
hinted at this earlier - Our forefathers used to sit
                around at the
tavern having a brew and debating the future of the
                country. It's a
shame we can't do the same anymore without resulting
                to labeling
                ("liberal", "rino", "right-winger", "left-winger",
                "birther", etc) /
                name calling.

I never considered a difference of opinion in
                politics, in religion,
in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend.
