We have a home with a Linksys 1900 router and they are having 2.4ghz AP issues. They have 15 clients connected including a Vivint SkyControl security panel. We noticed when we change the Linksys channel, the Vivint panel will change with it, as does the SSID it broadcasts.
I believe the Vivint control panel uses z-wave to connect all it's devices, including cameras. So we shouldn't see 2.4ghz interference. So why would the panel be broadcasting an SSID in the same channel space as the Linksys? Anyone have experience with these security systems?
