You need to make sure to ask the question of the supplier. I have had this problem before and even considered something that would periodically press the on button on the remote.
One make, not sure of the brand, had a jumper setting on the PCB to be able to come back on after a power failure. But the bottom line is that some do and some don’t. I'm ok if I just need to change batteries to change settings, but some text in the manuals seems to imply that the remote doubles as the thermostat. Do *any* of them allow me to hook up a wired thermostat? Sorry, I'm a grumpy old man and I want some wires for my thermostat.
