Like the Buick commercial “and you remembered to close the apartment windows,
right?”
Cut to view of apartment full of pigeons.

Call it my OCD, when I open a cabinet or work on a cat5 rack that has raceway
covers I always put them back on. Until a employee of said business need to
patch a cable to a port and off they go again. It’s a losing battle. But I
always just have to put them back on others I can sleep at night….

I hate ‘em. Also hate hundreds of wires the same color. Prefer D rings and
cable trays/ladders and various color cables so they’re easier to trace.
Electrons don’t care about neat.

I generally put them back on. I like to leave it tidy.

I see the wire way covers are in the long term storage location - the bottom of
the cabinet :-)

(I like wire way, it’s just amusing that the first thing that anyone does when
working on it is rip all the covers off and throw them in the bottom of the
cabinet. All of the covers are usually only installed after checkout, and
removed the first time someone has to work on it)
