Well, those Sinclair clamps are very nice, and Tessco carries them, but I
guarantee you won’t like the price. Especially since it’s just 1 in the box,
not 2. If you’re spending other peoples money, go for it.

I would like something better for that kind of grain leg too... We do a lot of
those, and I've never been able to come up with a really good way to attach to
them.

We just mounted a dish to a grain leg platform that had 90 degree sheet metal
angle about 3 inches on a side. Our usual method of pipe-to-pipe clamps or an
MTOW-P would have deformed the angle. I ended up using Sinclair CLAMP015C
which are really nice but way too expensive. They also have a CLAMP111 for
larger angle. The Sinclair parts are heavier duty than they look in the
catalog. Main downside (after price) is no adjustment to plump the pipe if the
angle isn’t plumb.

Awhile back we mounted a 3 ft licensed dish to an old Long Lines tower, the
angle iron was about 5 inches on a side and maybe 1/8 inch thick, plus it was a
self supporter so the legs were sloped. We used a Commscope (Andrew) clamp set
for angle legs that did the job, it was just wide enough for the angle.

Can you give me the dimensions of the angle iron sides? (thickness estimate
too if possible)

We do. I think the all thread needs to be at least 10" due to the width of
the angle iron.

Who has an angle iron tower leg that needs a tower mount?
I am going to add that option but need someone to test some prototypes.
