I'm working on a service near the ocean. The previous operator used 600SS units for surge suppression, and had many failures (they believe due to the proximity to salt water).
Are there any specific precautions that can be made for the 600SS, or other devices to prevent issues in a high salt environment? Are there any existing units that do very well in high salt environments? Thank you - Chris
