It depends. Each situation is different.

For example, those who had 6/6A installed in office complexes to
replace cat5/5e or in "Greenfield" will be okay as there is currently
1/2.5/5/10Gbps over copper, with 25 (and I think 50Gbps?) on the
horizon using that cabling. No need to rewire the whole building for
many years to come.
