5225 foot (take that Mr. Metric) link for 15-20 minutes. It will
normally fade about 20dB at most, but that was just a very heavy rain
band. Which is not rare. That link has been down that long more than 10
times since it was installed a couple years ago. They're good radios for
~99.75% availability which is why you need backup links and/or fault
tolerant routing for the other 1/4%. The ethernet link bounce option on
the AF24 is an awesome feature to trigger OSPF quickly.

We have AF24s operating at 2-1/4 miles without drops in Bay Area rain.
We also have one that is operating at 8 or 10 miles (forget how far),
but it experiences drops in heavy rain.
