I get 1% cashback on everything with my Discover card. I get 5% cashback each month on certain promotional items. Like this month I get 5% cashback on Home Improvement stores and Amazon.com.
I use this card for nearly ever purchase including paying bills. The extra cash generated is more than I make off my savings account.
