I climb them with no issues... I trust the physics after we brought one
down which had one split leg from ice/water damage... We tied safety ropes
to it,  used a backhoe tractor and brought shovel up to about 15 feet.
Chained it and then cut two legs with saw saw.. We eased it down... We cut
third leg half way and had to muscle it to come down... Even at angle it
supported itself without dropping to ground!   We had to cut remainding
end.... So unless tower is in bad shape... It should be solid.
