Oh, I had no idea TDS had a cable division out west. They own US Cellular,
rural phone company TDS Telecom, OneNetIT (datacenters) and apparently this
cable company. TDS is the 7th largest LEC in the US.

There is a smaller cable operator that is up there… I don’t recall the name
though. Comcast should be up that way as well and Centurylink for FTTH/DSL.

I’m not aware of any other broadband options… but I live about 40 miles away.

Well that's a shame, or a mark of success - depending on your perspective.
Some competition is always good to keep you on your A game.

Though, personally I'd prefer to support a smaller provider if there's an
option.

Seems to be a healthy fiber footprint out there, then whatever Comcast is
offering...?

I’m not aware of any WISP in the Ft. Collins area besides Rise.

Before JAB there was at least four serving the area.

Rise coverage in the city and surrounding area is excellent.

Thanks Sean - I try to support the smaller shops when I can.

Trying to get a feel for who's all in the area. Wonder if the broadbandmap is
still semi accurate?

Rise broadband is there.

I think there might be a couple smaller WISPs too.
