Wrong state, and wrong mountain. I'm amazed that you remembered the
year. The movie was "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", the state
was Wyoming, and the mountain was The Devil's Tower.

Alamo Mountain.
We didn't go higher up where lots of these drawings are because my
wife's knee started to ache. She beat them up as marathoner years ago.
