I have a friend who is the head of the border patrol union, in Yuma, I think. He claims that the Islamic folks are a big and increasing number of illegal crossings.
They find prayer rugs out in the desert all the time.

Somehow they thought it's really easy to travel in Mexico with proper IDs... You can cross into border easy enough... Getting further is tougher... But Mexico has changed... Not sure how far they could have made it.
