BNSF has a ton of their own fiber in their ROWs, yet they're still doing microwave PTP. No idea why. Maybe it's for a different system or backup.

There are unused railroad ROW's around here that allegedly matter. The railroad might not control them anymore....some of them here ended up in the hands of muni's who used them to make hiking trails and what-not.
