I have a customer with a misbehaving PTP800 link. It drops when it rains or is foggy and I’m trying to pin down why it is dropping. My guess is the coax has a poor seal on it.
Is there any way to tell if the modem is losing communication with the RF head? I know in Dragonwave radios, using the CLI you can get all sorts of stats. Does the same thing exist for the PTP800? If so, how do you access it? I don’t have physical access to it so I’ll be working remote (probably teamviewer ). Cambium, you really should put time stamps in the diagnostic csv files. It is rather difficult to correlate events with files from the other end.
