There is a “POE OFF” switch, surprised how many people get it turned off and can’t find it ☺ As far as logging into a AIRGateway, its just a bridge, so should not be ANYTHING. Its not a router, just a dumb bridge, get DHCP from your CPE, and login that’s it ☺
