I've had good luck with Plugable. I have a micro-USB OTG 10/100 version for my tablet. Plugged in and detected by W10, worked near instantly. No driver crap.

Does anyone have a recommendation on one that has worked well for
them? I just got a new laptop, and it is the first one I've had

    same?
