Since 844E is not available from retail, I am guessing you can ask your source 
for the latest firmware (11.1.130 or 11.2.6<- some nicer wifi features).

Also, 844E has a WAP mode too, so you can have one 844E router and several 844E 
WAPs. I know from the product manager of the 800 series that they will have at 
some point a feature where the WAPs can mesh, if there is no wired connection 
to one of them.

Even if radio is not that powerfull, 844E is 4x4 802.11ac and is cheaper than 
those $400 routers...
