[AFMUG] Mikrotik "only-hardware-queue"

Under queues->interface queues the default queue type for most of our 
routerboard products seems to be "only-hardware-queue".

Is there any info on what that specific type of queuing would be on any 
given piece of hardware?
I've never been totally sure what this is telling me.
