I have a non LEO who happens to be named lio. He is looking to build a
mobile surveillance vehicle, in a jeep wrangler sport. I see a great deal
of options out there for LEO letterhead holders, he is not, I am not.
He is looking for a minimum ptz via "3g" 2 channel preferable optical zoom,
low light/thermal imaging. Discreet being key.
He is a previous airborne Ranger and is aware of the feature set he wants
based on experience , but has no technical dataset for comparison.
His expectation on cost is not unrealistic, though 2 - 7k, would be his
preferred budget.
The purpose here is legitimate. I asked specifically whether this was an ex
old lady issue or not, it is not, the legal ramifications are understood.
I know non discrete surveillance as a deterrent, I've never dealt with
discrete so I'm at the whim of google.
The end result is very much the same as a police bait car, or dope car.
