I am working on a project where I need to exchange some low rate data between a tower top and a vehicle up to to 1000 feet or maybe even a quarter mile away.
Lots of choices. Zigbee, 802.15.4, 315 MHz, blue tooth, wifi UWB etc. Need something that is relatively free from interference. Has the range I need. Will work will low gain omnis at both ends. Leaning toward Zigbee at the moment. Don’t know how much range to expect. Any opinions?
