Well i verified it stays consistent gigabit when bypassed or through a 600ss i had on hand (100mbs there) grounded or not it would keep renegotiation unless it settled on 100mbps then it seemed stable. I took the gig out of the mikrotik and it stabilized at 100mbps consistently, its 20mhz channels so i dont need gige anyway and everything else is fine, even the force200 which is consistently running at gige. Its 250 foot bbdge, and the terminations into the keystones are awful, with exposed twists....one very small component in this carnival of clusterfucks at the site. Once they come back and fix that and all the other shennanigans, i may revisit it, but not to worried, ill never be running the epmp2000 at more than 20mhz channels anyway.
