I frequently use Putty because it's fast and I'm used to it.
I use WinSCP because it's very user friendly for SCP/SFTP.
I also use Tera Term. Especially for serial console. For whatever
reason, Putty constantly crashes when doing serial.
The nice thing with Tera Term is built-in SCP. You're working on a Linux
machine/VM and need to quickly send a file. But WinSCP wins hands-down
for more complex file transfer.
The other thing is, Tera Term can natively use SSH keys, whereas Putty
needs Pageant running.
That's all I got. I use all three.

Not Complaining at all, or looking to change, I get a ton done with
these two applications, just curious if there are even better solutions
