We started out using our local agent (didn't know where else to go initially). We ultimately got it all done, but over the years, the premium has continued to grow and grow and grow. Part of the issue is that if an underwriter doesn't truly understand a risk, they characterize said risk higher than one would that does understand it. We have recently moved to Unitel, who does do this largely only for communications companies, and the annual savings is very significant. You should at least obtain quotes from them to compare to a local business insurance agent or broker.
