I support a fleet of buses and vans which came with inverters to power 8 to 12 cameras, monitor and DVR. We have 18 channel power supply powering cameras, with DVR and monitor connected to Cobra 1200 watt inverter. Don't use thin wire for hooking up inverter to battery or solenoid. Make sure you have good fuse in place and ventilation for inverter.
