I don’t run or store anything on my own desktops or servers anymore.

On a set of cloud hosted VM’s that I’m not currently paying for I have the
following:

Platypus, Quickbooks, The Dude monitoring, UBNT services like Camera DVR and
mFi etc, another Mikrotik CHR
All of my files and email are on Office 265/One Drive.

I wish I could just VM my own PC’s at home and work on the cloud too, but it’s
still not quite there yet for graphics over IP.

Soon though…

My personal goal is to not have any local computers anywhere, just redundant
VM’s hosted by a cheap provider.

What all are you using the cloud for? I can't think of why I would need it to
run the ISP Side, or are you doing other client services.

Wish I could provide you info on Google cloud, but all I have is other options

Speaking of cloud based, has anyone used Google Cloud? I have been getting
emails and just looked into it. The pricing seems to cheap to be true. I
ditched Amazon AppStream2.0 when I forgot to turn off my app and received a
$650 bill for leaving it up all month. They refunded the money since I had
documented my troubles making their deployment tool working but the point is
it's expensive. I can host a real sever at a data center for less than that.
Below are examples of "monthly standard machine" pricing. They have customer
and by minute billing if you can do it that way. I don't know if they can
schedule start and stop times for instances.

They have others as well. Anyway, anyone used them, know anything about them,
etc?
