That Trango 5830 stuff worked great for a long time. But in all honesty, the greatest thing was that it used the same POE polarity and voltage as Canopy. Because we simply couldn't put up any more of it without frequency reuse and GPS sync.

Trango is alive and well although there is not much going on there in terms of new products. It was time for me to move on. After focusing only on microwave for the last few years I am loving being back in the ptmp game! Nice to be with a company with a lot of great product lines and more to come.

Can we start talking conspiracy about Trango yet? Because they kinda seem..... MIA. Which is scary considering how many Lynx we have deployed.

            Wait, wait... John? Cambium? What?

When our ApexPlus power supplies have let the magic
capacitor juice out in the past (because of the HP ODUs
running them at 100% all the time), I've used Mean Well
MDR-100-48's. They're like $30. SDRs work fine too, but
            $20 is $20.

Note that you cannot mix Apex and ApexPlus POE injectors.
            It's not the same pinout.

If it's AC to DC I like Meanwell SDR. I think you
only need 50 watts or so for a Trango, so this one has
a large margin. Put a DIN rail in your rack and you
can put like 12 or 14 of these in a row.
