Might consider it in the same way I would consider a side of beef, or other trade. You can certainly spend it as enough vendors accept it now.

Platypus isn’t capable of transacting Bitcoin (or IPPay for that matter I’m pretty sure). I don’t think I would bother with it until the major transaction companies and our own bill pay systems handle it natively. I don’t even have a bitcoin account myself or for my business, so a direct transaction would be impossible anyways. Maybe in the future I would sign on as I like the technology, just not the fluctuations in market and volatility.
