The cheap SOCs are kind of a PITA and are taking way too long to install. This would be for an MDU environment where we are using 2X3mm bow type drop fiber through conduit to the unit. The cheap SOCs seem to work a lot better on cable like clearfield drop fiber where it is a 250um inside of 900um inside a 3mm jacket.
