Sadly, after 3 hours of traffic, settled in Anderson SC, clouds came out of 
nowhere  and missed totality… :-( , at least got to experience temporary  
nightfall.

Then 6+ hours of traffic  on a normal 2 hour route… yippee!

It was really remarkable looking at the moon/sun in totality.  Pictures really

Making and testing viewers.  3 layers of aluminized mylar space blanked is 
equivalent  to the commercially made viewers.  (So says my calibrated eyeballs).
