[AFMUG] Hughes net claiming 25Mbps

Just saw a HughesNet commercial claiming 25Mbps but in small print said
something about wireless carrier rates and plans . Are these using
satellite and LTE?  Most of the Cradlepoint routers I have with T-Mobile
download at 25 to 40Mbps most of the time....curious
