902-928 is primary radio-location, secondary hamateur, and tertiary ISM
in the US (and Canada?). But yeah, most of the rest of the world it's
licensed which is why you typically see lots of antennas for 800-960.
So about that primary. We had a railroad beacon two blocks away from one
of our towers. Narrowband high power (30W EIRP or something like that)
around 911-912. PMP100 on an omni with about 5 customers. Didn't work
anymore. Couldn't go high in the band, too much paging bleeding over.
Smart meters/grid. 900 is getting more and more worthless every day.
