In our experience, you either need to list them as additional insureds on your 
existing policy or buy insurance through the leasing company.  I don't believe 
any automatically add it unless you fail to provide proof of insurance.

We haven't leased anything in 10 years, so I am a bit out of touch.

Do Leasing companies automatically insure equipment for the term of the lease?  
 Or do they generally require you to bring your own insurance to the equation?
