While I do prefer getting a deal on pricing ( why a look at baltic is always a stop ), shipping is just as much a part of the equation, time as much as price. Amazon _Usually_ gets stuff delivered in a day or two with prime. That solves a lot of logistics. If I'm buying bulk, in advance, then price is usually the driver, but most of the stuff, just-in-time ( when supplies are regular ) wins the day. Home routers sold with installs are a great example. I don't want to stock 25 of them but buying in 5 lots when I know they show up the next day rules...

Thanks Lewis.
I try to drive traffic to the distributors.  They give discounts off of MSRP.
Not sure this is the best way.  Back in the early days I sold direct.
Every afternoon we had 100 small boxes going out.
I prefer a few very large shipments each week to hundreds each day.
But at the end of the day, making money is the deal.  I may offer my stuff on Amazon at MSRP.

Screwed up. I would buy from Amazon if available. Didn't see that as a choice. On Thu, Dec 28, 2017 at 10:32 AM Lewis Bergman <[email protected]> wrote:

Hmmm, what is the difference between a clickable link and non
        clickable?

Working on a newsletter for right after the start of the year
announcing some new products and other fun things.
I will include a short survey in that newsletter.
Could you folks here please take my prototype survey so I can
perhaps tweak it before I spam my whole universe?
        It is short and painless.
Critical comments are very much appreciated.  We are trying to
figure out what to emphasize going forward.
We are still selling Stingers.  15 years ago that is all we sold.
Of our 75 products or so, 15 make up 90% of our revenue.  And
only 1 of the 15 is a Stinger.
So trying to figure out how to maximize that is always the trick.
The unseen hand of Adam Smith tickles me every day.
        Kind Regards,
        Chuck and Company
