I used to make beer when I was a kid. I grew pot too. Easier to grow pot than
it is to make beer.
In the 1970s pot was decriminalized in Oregon. Everybody that wanted to smoke
had grow lights in a closet somewhere.

I have several friends & relatives that make their own beer. It's fun, and you
can do some interesting "experiments" that might not be commercially viable. I
also have one friend that made his own still, and is making an interesting corn
liquor. Very small quantities. Kind of fun, but not for everyone.

I think that is what might happen in CA legalization. The sum of all the
state & local taxes now amounts to about 35% (might be off slightly in my
memory). But the point is, it leaves a lot of room for a black market. Sure,
the retail price of pot is about 50% of what it was, but we shall see.

re: pot store in Utah, never underestimate the greed of government.
When AZ, ID and WY legalize it, the suck of taxes will be pretty hard to
        resist.

Rather than buy bitcoin, I think I will buy some real estate
situated for building a recreational pot store at some point in
the
              future....
At least the land will retain some value.

              happen).

If you're in business for yourself, you're gambling. Maybe with
more
              control, but still gambling.
