Not me. When I've wanted weed whacker protection I cut a slot into a 1' chunk of pvc conduit with an angle grinder. Then I slip it over the cable and use a normal conduit strap. I only did that a couple of times, but if I wanted it to be SOP then I'd run 10' sticks through a table saw to make the slot and then pre-cut 10' sections.
